SAT sites open at Cloverdale, Greencastle

Officials at the Knoy Resource Center have announced that Cloverdale High School is now an official testing site for the SAT. Nearly every college in America accepts the SAT or Subject Tests as a part of its admissions process. According to the College Board, that's why more than two million students take the SAT every year. Cloverdale High School will be administering the SAT test on Dec. 6 and May 2 of this school year...

Wallace L. "Wally" Birge, 59, of Greencastle died on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2008. He was born on Nov. 21, 1948 in Crawfordsville to Mervin and Mary C. Walker Birge. Wally was a graduate of Linden High School and attended Ball State University. Mr. Birge served his country in the U.S. Army 173rd Airborne Armor in Vietnam.
