MONROVIA -- Undefeated North Putnam crushed Monrovia, 33-0, in one of its best performances of the season Friday in a West Central Conference game on Gordon Hadley Field. The Cougars (7-0, 4-0 WCC) limited the Bulldogs (4-3, 2-2 WCC) to 85 yards rushing and five passing. Attempted robbery at Clark station

GREENCASTLE-- A would-be robber attempted to hold up the Clark station on Washington St. in Greencastle between 7 and 8 p.m. Friday evening. While the Greencastle Police Department is releasing few details at this time, GPD Chief Tom Sutherlin confirmed it was a male subject wearing all black clothing, including a black hooded sweatshirt, attempted to rob the station.
