Ernest M. (Ernie) Flaherty, 74, passed away on Oct. 26, 2010. He was born in Indianapolis on June 27, 1936 to Erwin J. and Beulah M. (Gordon) Flaherty. He was the youngest of five brothers. Ernest joined the U.S. Army serving his country in Korea. After his assignment, he returned and worked at BHT Company, and then the United States Postal Service as a letter carrier for the Rainbow Branch and Park Fletcher Branch before retiring in 1991...
