Looking to the past

Learning and writing about the lives of many famous people from the past and present, Cloverdale fourth-grade students researched presidents, historical figures and sport icons. As part of their final presentation, many students chose to dress in the style of the represented character. Anne Frank (portayed by Haley Maners and Hannah Rady above) focused on dealing with adversity and persevering through difficult times with hope and dignity. Johnny "Johnny Appleseed" Chapman (Elliott Williamson) even had delicious red apples in his burlap bag for each student, while Thomas Jefferson (Rylan Hall) and John F. Kennedy (Josiah Mann) taught the class about their many historic accomplishments.

Meal prices to go up at GCSC
