UAW Drive Aids Military

A recent effort led by UAW Local 2382 with support from IAC Greencastle resulted in supplies being sent to deployed military men and women serving in Afghanistan this holiday season. In all they were able to collect 38 boxes of deodorant, tissues, lotion, snacks, etc. to be sent. The Putnam County VFW helped with shipping. DePauw University senior Luke Lattner was named the North Coast Athletic Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week on Monday after guiding the Tigers to two victories last week. Lattner averaged 28 points between the two games, scoring 36 in their 100-91 win over Allegheny and 20 in their 73-64 win against Kenyon.
