With a theme of “The Magic of Music,” the annual Family Fun Day program Wednesday at the Putnam County Fair hits some high notes in the Community Building. Local auctioneer Jeff Rich conducts the Purse Auction, keeping a full house of bidders in stitches and on their toes, while Fair Queen Hannah Cunningham displays one of several treasure-filled purses up for bids during the fundraising auction that closes out the day. During the music portion of the program, guest speaker Allison Payonk, a student at St. Mary-of-the-Woods, talks about music therapy as she uses her guitar to entertain and educate.
