Man who shot officer pleads guilty to attempted murder

The man who shot a former Cloverdale Police officer in December 2016 has agreed to plead guilty to attempted murder. Jeffrey Hunter, 50, will be sentenced for the Level 1 felony in Putnam Circuit Court on April 12. Easter Baskets Project

Girl Scout troops 1734 and 3700 partnered this year with 4-H Jolly Juniors Club to assemble 120 Easter baskets for Putnam County families in need. The troops and club also collaborated with the Putnam County Division of Child Services, Emergency Food Pantry and Beyond Homeless to distribute the baskets to local families. This is the second year these Girl Scout troops have completed this project and they plan to continue to do it in years to come...
