Having just snapped a selfie with Cole Dixon (right), Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb chats with the Putnam Inn server Thursday afternoon at the Greencastle eatery. Having signed opioid-focused legislation in Avon that morning, the governor then traveled to Cloverdale where he met with several area sheriffs. Before heading back to Indianapolis, Holcomb headed north to chat with a few diners and even sample the Putnam Inn's signature cinnamon rolls.

Park-sponsored art exhibit moved to Peeler Center Saturday

Due to anticipated bad weather on Saturday, the location has been changed for an art exhibit, sponsored by the Greencastle Parks and Recreation Department. "Manifestations of Energy," an art exhibit originally slated for 1-5 p.m. Saturday at Mary Rogers Field Park next to City Hall, has been moved to the lobby of the DePauw University Peeler Art Center, corner of Hanna and South Jackson streets...
