Beech Grove coach Mike Renfro targeted guards Brody Whitaker and Benny Parmley of Greencastle as players on which his team needed to focus in Saturday’s Greencastle Regional opener. Renfro’s Hornets swarmed all over the Tiger Cub standouts, holding the pair to just a combined 15 points in a 52-37 win that ended Greencastle’s best season in a few decades.

The North Putnam and South Putnam baseball programs will each be sponsoring a 3-on-3 basketball tournament later this month to raise funds.
