Rollover shuts down section of SR 240

An accident involving two vehicles had State Road 240 shut down just outside Greencastle Friday afternoon. Shortly before 2 p.m., emergency personnel were sent out for a rollover near the Putnam County Animal Shelter with possible entrapment. The scene involved a van which went into the ditch and sustained front-end damage, while a small truck was found upside down near an electricity pole. Late Friday morning fire on College Avenue began in kitchen
