‘Footloose’ comes to North Putnam stage

This weekend, North Putnam Thespian Troupe 1478 will present “Footloose” the musical. Shows are this Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students. The action in “Footloose” centers on new kid Ren McCormack’s campaign to have a law against dancing abolished in the tiny, devoutly Christian town of Bomont.
