Courthouse access reduced to single entrance

CLOVERDALE – The Greencastle Tiger Cub volleyball team looked sharp and handled the host Cloverdale Clovers in straight sets 25-4, 25-20, 25-8 in WIC action Thursday night. Greencastle came out firing, scoring the first six and did not look back. With the score 10-4, the Cubs scored the last 15 points to quickly take the first set. Betty Jewel Ridgway, 71, of Greencastle, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 24, 2023. Betty was born in Somerset, Ky., on Nov. 24, 1951, the daughter of Elbert Wesley and Era Grace (Burton) Poynter. She was a 1970 graduate of North Putnam High School. She married the love of her life, Louis Ridgway III, on Feb. 14, 1971. They were married for 52 years. Splash park closed due to malfunction
