The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office has announced the release of a new mobile application geared toward emergency notifications. At this point, 97 percent of the population nine out of 10 of those have a smart phone. The office plans to use the app mostly to keep the driving public informed about road closures and other traffic concerns.
