County Jail

Seven people were booked in the Putnam County Jail recently.

Thursday

• At 3:32 a.m. Jessica A. DeBlase, 38, Indianapolis, was lodged at the jail on a local warrant.

Wednesday

• At 2:44 p.m. Mason B. Henline, 28, Pendleton, was taken into custody for possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of a syringe, obstruction of justice, maintaining a common nuisance, driving with a suspended license and possession of paraphernalia.

• At 3:11 a.m. Sebastian L. Russell, 34, Indianapolis, was housed at the jail on a local warrant.

• At 12:55 a.m. Jessica R. Swager, 34, Greencastle, was booked in for possession of methamphetamine, possession of a narcotic drug, unlawful possession of a syringe, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia with a prior conviction.

Tuesday

• At 5:37 a.m. Duran A. Morgan, 29, Poland, was lodged at the jail on a local warrant.

Monday

• At 10:38 p.m. William J. Tyson Jr., 46, Crawfordsville, was taken into custody for possession of methamphetamine, driving while intoxicated and possession of paraphernalia.

• At 9 a.m. Michael T. Vanevery, 44, Greencastle, was housed at the jail for violation of bond.

City Police

One local driver received a pair of citations from Greencastle City Police officers earlier this week.

• At 7:37 p.m. Monday, Alex Gardiner, 35, Cloverdale, was ticketed by Officer Billy DeWitt.

Stopped on Bloomington Street near Primrose Lane, Gardiner was cited for speeding, 45 mph in a 30-mph, and ticketed for having an expired license plate (May 7, 2024).
