CHS Royalty Crowned

On a homecoming in which no game was played at all due to weather, Cadence Welchel was crowned the 2024 Cloverdale High School homecoming queen on Friday afternoon, while Alexander Acosta Bonilla was crowned king. The risk of travel in high winds and rain on Friday evening canceled the scheduled game between Cloverdale and South Decatur.

The full 2024 homecoming court for Cloverdale High School includes seniors (front) Autumn Wheeler, Landyn Shaw, Ciara Boyd, Alexander Acosta Bonilla, Cadence Welchel and Jaden McDonald; juniors (second row) Sarah Nichols, Evan Barnett, Jacie Neese, Corbin Lewellen, Haley Lehr and Mitchell Bell; sophomores (third row) Addison Collins, Marcus Boyd, Chelsey Zimmerman, Jace Gardner, Riley Green and Conner Barnes; and freshmen (back) Kayleigh Shepherd, Ishmael Ketika, Jimma Harrison, Mason Caulkins, Norah Frye and Ashton Evans.
