Benjamin "Ben" Allen Jones, 95, of Greencastle died Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010 at Asbury Towers in Greencastle. He was born Feb. 11, 1914 in Putnam County, son of Frank and Bernice Allen Jones. Mr. Jones was the owner of the Jones Standard Station at the corner of US 40 and US 231 for more than 20 years. He also worked for the State of Indiana from 1969 until his retirement in 1980. More H1N1 clinics coming this month

The Putnam County Health Department, in partnership with Putnam County Hospital, will conduct H1N1 flu vaccine clinics each Wednesdays during the month of January. Clinics will be held from 1 to 7 p.m. Jan. 13; from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 20; and 1 to 7 p.m. Jan. 27 at the medical office building at PCH.
