Final Approach tastiest at the 'Taste'

The Final Approach Restaurant and Pub, represented by head chef Chase Hubbard (left), is presented with the Taste of Putnam County Golden Plate Saturday night by Greater Greencastle Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Tammy Amor as other Final Approach staff members look on. A vote of the members of the public attending the second annual Taste of Putnam County at the Dixie Chopper Business Center at the Putnam County Airport determined the people's choice winner. Meanwhile, it was also announced that the 42-inch flat screen drawn at the event was won by Darren Carter.

A large crowd sampled tasty treats -- including desserts from Putnam Inn, passed out by Kari King (with tray) and Margie Secrest to Rick Doyle and others -- and listened to a variety of musical entertainment, including singer Barbara Ellen of Rockville.
