Pingleton stays perfect on the season with win

Greencastle grad and former state runner-up wrestler Charlie Pingleton has transferred to Lindsey Wilson College and has posted a record of 10-0 record this season after winning at the IU Duels this past weekend So far this year, Pingleton has won his matches by either a major decision, technical fall or pin and hasn't given up an offense point. He won the King College Open with two tech falls and won in the finals by a major decision over No. 4 ranked Connor Young of Campbellsville. Pingelton also won the Patriot Open with two pins and a major decision.

In the consolation game of the Putnam County Tournament, North Putnam overcame a halftime deficit as they took third place over Cloverdale 44-32. Both squads came out slow to start the first half as the Cougars took an early lead.
