Greencastle VFW to hold pork loin dinner

The Greencastle VFW Post 1550 will be having live music by the John Wood Combo with Robin Hopkins and Kathleen Miller today from 5:30-7:30 p.m. A pork loin dinner will also be served from 5-7 p.m. at a cost of $7. The event is open to the public.

Independence Day!

Hundreds showed up to Robe-Ann Park to top off their Independence Day celebrations. The fireworks started promptly at 10 p.m. and lasted roughly 20 minutes. Although, the firework display was the centerpiece of the Independence Day celebrations, Robe-Ann had many activities to celebrate the holiday throughout the day including a fun run, live music, food and even a hot dog contest.
