Aquatic center set to close ‘great season’ on Sunday

The 68-day summer swim season -- a “great season” by local officials’ standards -- comes to an end Sunday at the Greencastle Aquatic Center. Assistant Park Director Chrysta Snellenberger listed aquatic center numbers through Tuesday for the Park Board at its August meeting that showed $39,632 in revenues via paid admissions from non-pass holders, $24,980 in concession revenues and $24,350 in pool pass purchases. Multiple agencies celebrated for June Fern Cliff Rescue
