Wilbur D. Crawley

Wilbur D. Crawley, age 86, of Cloverdale, passed away Sept. 26, 2022.

He was born Feb. 27, 1936, to the late William and Clara Crawley.

Wilbur married Judy (Saunders) Crawley July 24, 1954, and she survives.

In addition to his wife, he is also survived by his children, Sheila Crawley of Ladoga, Frederick Crawley of Crystal Lake, Ill., and Rick Crawley of Carmel; sisters Bernice Emrich and Lori (Bob) Straley; sister-in-law Mary Crawley; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; grandchildren Stephanie Smith, Shawn Smith, Suzanna (Dustin) Miles and Aaron (Hillary) Crawley; great-grandchildren Tyler (Olivia) Coon, River Smith, Skylene Miles, Rylen Miles, Dallen Miles, Shayla Miles, Justin Crawley, Ethan Crawley and Harlie Owens; and one great-great-grandchild due in January.

In addition to his parents, William and Clara Crawley, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Floyd Crawley and Harold “Joke” Crawley.

Funeral services for Wilbur will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service time of 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
