Wilma Jean Fenwick Sillery

Wilma Jean Fenwick Sillery, 88, of Greencastle, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 20, 2022, at Hendricks Regional Health in Danville.

Wilma was born in Somerset, Ky., on Jan. 21, 1934, the daughter of Clarence and Letha (Abbott) Bonifacius.

She was a 1952 graduate of Roachdale High School.

Wilma was a member of the First Assembly of God in Greencastle for 60 years. She worked for DePauw University for more than 20 years.

Wilma loved gardening and being outdoors.

Survivors include her four children, Steve Fenwick (Erin Mahoney), Karen Gruenholz (Tim), Gary Fenwick (Lynn) and David Sillery (Jana); three sisters, Anna Schroeder, Faye Bartlett and Mary Vangundy (Hal); three brothers, Clarence Bonifacius (Jan), James Bonifacius (Kathy) and William Bonifacius; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Tanner Kyle “Speed” Fenwick; her first husband, Hurbert “Speed” Fenwick; her second husband, Charles W. Sillery; and a daughter-in-law, Sherrie Fenwick.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
