Mary M. McClure

Mary M. McClure, 81, of Ladoga, passed away Saturday, Aug. 26, 2023, at Mill Pond Health Campus.

She was born on Oct. 27, 1941, in Hoby Village, Leicestershire, England, to the late Thomas Reid and Agnes Murray.

On May 26, 1960, in Greencastle, she married Joseph Paul McClure. He preceded her in death on July 22, 2013.

Mary graduated high school in England. After moving to the United States with her husband, they successfully owned and operated McClure’s in Ladoga for 50 years.

Mary enjoyed sewing, crafts, word search puzzles, reading and being with her family.

She is survived by her three children, Wade (Kathy) McClure, David McClure and Danny McClure; three grandchildren, David (Carlee) McClure, Samantha McClure and Seth Elliott; and great-grandson Colter McClure.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and her 12 siblings.

There will be no public services scheduled at this time.
