Elizabeth Ann Harrigan, 83, passed away on March 26, 2024 after a brief illness.

Ann was born Oct. 29, 1940 to Raymond and Edna (Gish) Victor in Rensselaer and was a graduate of Wolcott High School.

After moving to Greencastle in the early 1980s, she worked at Gjesvold Photo and Art in Greencastle and was a homemaker and caregiver to her mother for many years.

Ann was a member of Clinton Falls Community Church, but also attended St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church where her late husband and many friends worshiped.

Ann grew up on her family’s farm in Wolcott and loved art, music and horseback riding. She was a self-taught artist who carried her passion for art from childhood until the end of her life, producing countless works mostly featuring Indiana landscapes and horses.

Ann was a very humble and unassuming person of great faith who cared deeply for her family. After losing her husband, she moved to town where she made new friends and joined in activities such as Bible study and attending local concerts.

Ann is survived by her two children, Bart Marnitz (Shannon) of Ormond Beach, Fla., and Amy Robinson (Tad) of Greencastle; as well as her three stepchildren, Jeff Harrigan, Jean Rosys and Kevin Harrigan; grandchildren Stephanie Nelson, Tyler Robinson, Avery Robinson and Tyler Marnitz; in addition to her four great-grandchildren, Curren, Parker, Ada and Vera.

She was predeceased by her second husband, George Micheal Harrigan; first husband Dan Marnitz (the father of her children); parents; brothers Larry Victor and Jerry “Chip” Victor; and sister Nita Stockment.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
