Jeffery Leroy Redick passed away on May 18, 2024 at home with family in Greencastle.

Jeff was born on July 29, 1957 in Findlay, Ohio. He was the youngest of three children and only son of Gerald and Evelyn Redick (Weihrauch) of Jenera, Ohio. His life began and ended in the farming industry.

Jeff graduated from Cory-Rawson High School in 1975. Soon after, he took over duties of the family dairy farm and married Debbie. They were blessed with two daughters, Michelle and Kelly.

After their divorce, he took a break from farming to live in central Florida, where he met his second wife, Donna, and her son, John. They moved back to the Midwest, where Jeff became a farm manager and began his own excavating business, JADE Inc., in New Maysville.

Jeff was always a farmer at heart and got back into that industry when he became the owner/operator of Redick Liquid Waste Management. He made many contributions and innovations to the custom manure application industry. He designed and helped create new application tools and methods that are used by many today.

When his second marriage ended, he moved to Van Bibber Lake Estates, where he met his wife, Brenda, and her daughter, Tori. Jeff and Brenda split their time between life on the lake and wintering in Florida for the past several years.

Among his favorite hobbies were water sports, classic cars, racing, traveling and Harley-Davidson motorcycles, dancing and singing along to his favorite songs and spending time with family and friends.

Over the years, Jeff touched the lives of many and inspired a new generation in the farming industry. He was a beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Jeff is survived by his sisters, Susan and Nancy; wife Brenda Dossey-Redick; children Michelle Redick-Nowak (Jeff), Kelly Stevenson (Marc) and John Stacks (Cassie); grandchildren Logan Redick-Sparks, Colt Stevenson (Lynsey) and Tanner, Ashlynn and Cora Stacks; and his great-grandchild, Emma Jean Stevenson.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Evelyn, and daughter Tori Dossey.

The family thanks all those who have expressed their sympathies.

A celebration of life will be held in mid-July. Details will be announced.
