Sacrifice’s Honor

The combined Greencastle American Legion-VFW Honor Guard performs a 21-gun salute during the traditional ceremony held at Forest Hill Cemetery on Monday.

Not far from the Veterans Section is the grave of John Henry Sanders, who died in a base hospital in France not long after the conclusion of World War I.
