STILESVILLE – A Danville teenager was fatally injured in a one-vehicle accident early Monday, the Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office reported.

The fatality that claimed the life of 18-year-old Cyle Sullivan occurred in the early morning hours near the 7500 block south of County Road 550 West, north of Stilesville.

Sullivan was set to graduate from Cascade High School on Friday, May 31.

At approximately 4:20 a.m. Monday, Hendricks County deputies were dispatched to the area on the report of a single-vehicle crash into a utility pole.

Preliminary investigation indicates Sullivan was northbound, driving a Ford Taurus on County Road 550 West when it went off the roadway at a slight curve. The vehicle struck a utility pole, causing it to roll.

The victim was transported to Methodist Hospital at Indianapolis and later died from his injuries.

There were no passengers in the vehicle.
