Putnam grads awarded Hendricks Power scholarships

South Putnam’s Caroline Hodge and North Putnam’s Alexis Daigle and Gabrielle Simonson were recently named recipients of scholarships through Hendricks Power’s Commitment to Community scholarship program.

Each will be awarded a $1,500 scholarship toward continuing education at the college or vocational school of their choice.

More than 50 member applications were received from graduating students.

Recipients were selected based on personal achievements, application essays and other criteria, along with excelling academically.

Hendricks Power hosted a dinner on May 16 to recognize the recipients and present them with certificates celebrating their achievements.
