County Jail

Sixteen people were booked in the Putnam County Jail recently.

Thursday

• At 5:42 a.m. Crystal D. Baugh, 41, Brazil, was housed at the jail on a local warrant.

Wednesday

• At 10:22 a.m. Anthony A. Hughes, 73, Freedom, was booked in for possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana.

• At 10:20 a.m. Blythe E. King, 49, Indianapolis, was lodged at the jail on a local warrant.

Tuesday

• At 2:32 a.m. Ethan D. Dickey, 31, Terre Haute, was taken into custody on a local warrant.

• At 2:22 a.m. Brady A. King, 34, Martinsville, was housed at the jail for driving with a suspended license with a prior conviction.

• At 12:35 a.m. Earl C. Nicholson, 35, Cloverdale, was booked in for driving while intoxicated and driving with a suspended license with a prior conviction.

Sunday

• At 11:20 p.m. Ruby I. Craig, 52, Greencastle, was housed at the jail on a local warrant.

Saturday

• At 6:48 p.m. Kyle J. Bickley, 37, Cloverdale, was lodged at the jail for failure to appear.

• At 1:28 p.m. Tiffany M. Lloyd, 24, Noblesville, was taken into custody for auto theft and unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle.

• At 4:02 a.m. Jacob P. Spray, 25, Fillmore, was housed at the jail for driving with an ACE of .15 or greater.

• At 12:31 a.m. Carlos J. Rios Sanchez, 32, Greencastle, was booked in for driving a commercial motor vehicle without a valid CDL and on a local warrant.

• At 12:23 a.m. Thomas C. Walls, 48, Spencer, was lodged at the jail for driving while intoxicated, resisting law enforcement and possession of paraphernalia with a prior conviction.

Friday, May 24

• At 10:08 p.m. Robert W. Houser, 43, Avon, was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated.

• At 8:49 p.m. Johnathon C. Kashman, 29, Russellville, was housed at the jail on a writ of body attachment.

• At 1:14 p.m. Ashlynn G. Casey, 18, Rockville, was booked in on an out-of-county warrant.

• At 12:56 p.m. Jordan Washington, 24, Rockville, was lodged at the jail on an out-of-county warrant.

City Police

Three recent arrests were reported by Greencastle City Police officers:

• At 9:58 p.m. Monday, J. Ryan Sanders, 41, Coatesville, was arrested by Sgt. Zach Rhine.

Stopped on Shadowlawn Avenue, Sanders was arrested and lodged in the Putnam County Jail for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. He registered .144 percent blood-alcohol concentration under portable breathalyzer testing.

• At 2:37 a.m. Monday, Cassandra L. Roche, 40, Fillmore, was arrested by Capt. Charles Inman.

Stopped along South Jackson Street, Roche was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Lodged in the county jail, she registered .169 percent blood-alcohol concentration under portable breathalyzer testing.

• At 9:08 p.m. Saturday, Jacob E. Crosbie, 44, Greencastle, was arrested by Officer Damon Ludwig.

Booked into the jail for driving while intoxicated and failure to stop after an accident in the county, Crosbie registered .28 percent blood-alcohol concentration under preliminary testing at Putnam County Hospital.

One summons was issued recently by city officers:

• At 3:50 p.m. May 24, Joshua Smith, 43, Greencastle, was given a summons by Officer Luke Brown.

Stopped at Fifth Street and Avenue B, Smith was cited for driving with a suspended license.

City Fire

The Greencastle Fire Department reported one incident between Monday morning and Wednesday evening:

• At 8:55 p.m. on Monday, GFD was dispatched to Gore House at DePauw University for a fire alarm. Firefighters arrived at 8:59 and determined the alarm was due to a dirty detector head. The detector was cleaned and the alarm system was reset. GFD went back into service at 9:27 p.m.

Additionally, GFD responded for six medical assists during this timeframe.
