Elizabeth Ann Asbery

Elizabeth Ann Asbery died June 2, 2024.

She was born Sept. 15, 1950 in Greencastle.

A resident of Okeechobee, Fla., for 12 years, she was a member of the Buckhead Baptist Church and the Okeechobee Moose Lodge 1753.

She enjoyed going to flea markets and playing euchre and bingo. She loved fishing, horses, dogs and most of all her family.

Mrs. Asbery was preceded in death by her mother, Florence Shaner; father Barney Shaner; and two brothers.

She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Monty Asbery of Buckhead Ridge, Fla.; sons Steven Asbery of Buckhead Ridge and Travis Asbery (Milly) of Okeechobee; one grandchild, Ashley Holt (Max) of Linton; two great-grandchildren, Hailey and Emmalynne; brothers-in-law James Asbery (Donna) of Mooresville and Randall Asbery (Sherri) of Indianapolis; sister Carolyn Price of Indianapolis; and several nieces and nephews.
