William ‘Bill’ Stanley Vensko

William “Bill” Stanley Vensko, Fillmore, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024. He was 54 years old.

Bill was born in McKeesport, Pa., to his parents, William Clayton Vensko and Marie Armstrong.

He graduated from Bethlehem Center High School and earned his CDL license.

Bill married his wife, Tamara (Zumwalt) Vensko, on Nov. 22, 2018, and they shared six years of marriage together, along with over 30 years of friendship.

Bill worked a number of jobs throughout his life. He was a restaurant general manager for several locations, including Wendy’s and Donatos. He owned and operated Vensko Home Improvements for several years, and finally he worked as truck driver for U.S. Express.

Bill enjoyed hiking and watching crime shows alongside his wife and family. He was a lifelong fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Diet Coke. He was a foodie and was known to have a sweet tooth. Bill loved to mow his grass and maintain his lawn; he was known to hold competitions with his neighbors for having the best yard. He loved to spend time with his family and grandchildren.

Bill’s outgoing personality, unique humor and hardworking nature will be dearly missed by those he leaves behind.

Bill is survived by his wife, Tammy Vensko; his children, Jessica (Jacob) Tolias, Jayden Vensko, Brittany Gong, Aaron (Hailey) Gong and Anthony Gong; his grandchildren, Luke Tolias, Holden Tolias, Kaylee Fullen, Ryder Fullen, Elijah Gong, Payton Gong and Brooklyn Gong; his mother, Marie Armstrong; and his siblings, Joe (Jacquelynn) Vensko and Bob Vensko.

Bill was preceded in death by his father, William Clayton Vensko, and his stepfather, Raymond Armstrong.

A visitation for Bill will be held on Monday, June 17 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The funeral service will be on Monday, June 17 at 1 p.m. Burial will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens at 2 p.m.
