Jeffrey Alan Gross

Jeffrey Alan Gross, 66, of Greencastle, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at Fresenius Kidney Care in Danville.

Jeffrey was born in Greencastle on May 4, 1958, the son of Gerald and Beatrice (Hayes) Gross, and was a graduate of Greencastle High School.

He earned his associate degree in technical engineering from Ivy Tech.

Mr. Gross was a former member of ABATE. Jeffrey worked in maintenance for 30 years with Ascena.

He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed camping, fishing and working outdoors.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Annette Gross of Greencastle; two children, Thomas Gross and Marissa Yeley (husband Alex), both of Greencastle; three grandchildren, Shiloh and Jasper Marcum and Aspen Yeley; three brothers, Gene Gross (wife Nancy) of Illinois, David Gross (wife Gail) of Van Bibber Lake and Mark Gross of Greencastle; his beloved dog, Cookie; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Kenny and Eddie Gross.

Services will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, June 18 at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until time of service on Tuesday.
