LETTER: Kiwanis appreciative of community support

To the Editor:

The Kiwanis Club of Greencastle would like to express appreciation to all who donated, performed and attended the 68th Kiwanis pancake breakfast. This support made it possible for Kiwanis to raise funds for Riley Children’s Hospital and various nonprofit organizations in Putnam County.

Thank you to our partners and patrons: Greencastle Moose Lodge, McDonald’s (Jedele Enterprises), DePauw University, Mill Pond Health Campus, Putnam County Comprehensive Services, Asbury Towers, The Inn at DePauw, the Banner Graphic, Chris Wurster, Derek Chastain, Covered Bridge Harmony, PCCS Aktion Club, the Greencastle Fire Department and Sparky, Kiwanis Club members and breakfast patrons.

We are looking forward to the 69th Greencastle Kiwanis pancake breakfast in 2025, but first, our focus will be on the annual Jim Maxwell Kiwanis Bicycle Safety Course at the National Night Out event in July.

Our next big fundraiser, the second-annual Greencastle Kiwanis Trivia Contest, is scheduled for Nov. 2. Stay tuned for more information.
