FILLMORE — Started back up in April, the Fillmore Firehouse Bluegrass Jam has begun its second year.

The music takes place each Friday from 6-8:30 p.m. at the Fillmore Volunteer Fire Department.

New players are invited, with all non-electric instruments welcome to play bluegrass, country and gospel. Vocals are also welcome to this opportunity to show off some talent and get exposure, even for beginners.

Organizers encourage younger pickers to, “come on out and show the old timers how it’s done.”

Food and drinks are available. Any donations help support Fillmore Fire.
