County Jail
Thirteen people were booked in the Putnam County Jail recently.
Wednesday
At 11:39 p.m. Robert L. Richardson, 53, Fillmore, was lodged at the jail for driving while intoxicated.
At 8:13 p.m. Justin M. Gardner, 26, Brazil, was taken into custody on a local warrant.
At 7:56 p.m. Rashelle K. Daugherty, 41, Reelsville, was housed at the jail on a local warrant.
At 3:26 p.m. Dakota W. Martin, 34, Reelsville, was booked in on a local warrant.
At 1:28 p.m. Stephanie N. Inglert, 36, Coatesville, was lodged at the jail on a local warrant.
Tuesday
At 10:50 p.m. Lyndon J. Briones, 21, Greencastle, was taken into custody on a local warrant.
At 8:20 p.m. Todd T.Z. Marsee, 58, Coatesville, was housed at the jail on a local warrant.
At 5:28 p.m. Jamie M. Wehrheim-Johnson, 48, Greencastle, was booked in for battery.
At 4:50 p.m. Danielle K. Lunsford, 33, Poland, was lodged at the jail on a local warrant.
At 12:15 p.m. Princeton C. Baker, 20, Terre Haute, was taken into custody on an out-of-county warrant.
At 12:10 a.m. Myrisa K. Jarrett, 25, Bainbridge, was housed at the jail for domestic battery.
Monday
At 4:45 p.m. Rebecca L. Farmer, 60, Greencastle, was booked in on a local warrant.
At 12:06 p.m. Austin L. Stevens, 29, Brownsburg, was lodged at the jail on an out-of-county warrant.
City Police
Two recent summonses were issued by Greencastle City Police officers:
At 11:39 a.m. Monday, Charles Ross, 48, Plainfield, was given a summons by Capt. Brad Hiatt.
Stopped at Franklin and Durham streets, Ross was issued a summons for driving with a suspended license with a prior offense.
At 3:32 a.m. June 5, Catlin Mankins, 38, Brazil, was issued a summons by Officer Billy DeWitt.
Stopped along Veterans Memorial Highway, Mankins was given a summons for driving with a suspended license with a prior offense.
Two recent citations were issued by city offices:
At 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Jeffery Dittrich, 59, Coatesville, was ticketed by Capt. Hiatt.
Cited for an infraction of driving with a suspended license, Dittrich was stopped at North Jackson and Green streets.
At 9 p.m. June 6, Alexandria Acosta, 27, Staunton, was cited by Officer Damon Ludwig.
Stopped on Bloomington Street, Acosta was ticketed for having an expired license plate (Aug. 7, 2023).
City Fire
The Greencastle Fire Department reported three incidents between last Sunday evening and Wednesday evening:
At 12:51 p.m. on Tuesday, GFD was dispatched to 538 N. CR 100 East for a fire alarm. Firefighters arrived at 1:02 p.m. and did not determine the cause for the alarm. The alarm system was reset. GFD went back into service at 1:11 p.m.
At 6:12 p.m. on Tuesday, GFD was dispatched for a fire alarm in an apartment above Starbucks. Firefighters arrived at 6:17 and did not determine the cause for the alarm. The alarm system was reset. GFD went back into service at 6:25 p.m.
At 4:24 p.m. on Wednesday, GFD was dispatched for a vehicle fire at 1420 W. CR 280 South. Firefighters arrived at 4:32 to a fire in a pickup trucks engine and passenger compartments. The fire was quickly extinguished. After being assisted by police, GFD went back into service at 5:12 p.m.
Additionally, GFD responded for nine medical assists and had two disregards during this timeframe.
