Gerald ‘Jerry’ Wilson Krouse

Gerald “Jerry” Wilson Krouse, 67, of Cloverdale, passed away quietly at home on June 12, 2024.

He was born on Feb. 19, 1957 in Camp Lejeune, N.C.

Jerry was a devoted father and grandfather to his sons, Andrew and Alex, and grandsons Navin and Elijah. He is survived by his sons and their wives; sister Nancy; and brothers Rick and Bob and their families.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret Madeleine Krouse and Ervin Gladfelter Krouse, and granddaughter Kylie.

He attended John Adams High School in South Bend and later Indiana University.

Jerry worked for over 30 years as a production supervisor at Leer and IAC in Greencastle, and later in life worked as a custodian at Greencastle Middle School.

Jerry enjoyed outdoor activities, maintaining his beautiful yard and flower garden and, most of all, spending time with his family. He was a father who was always a steady support and comfort with his presence and selfless willingness to offer help.

A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at the Bartlett Reflection Center at the DePauw Nature Park in Greencastle on June 19 from 5-8 p.m. All who knew Jerry are welcome to come.

Jerry will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
