Water Park

Watering the vegetables in a planter near the Greencastle Parks Department office, Park Director Greg Ruark sprays the plants in a small community garden that was the brainchild of DePauw University Bonner Scholar Haleigh Menendez, who volunteers with the park. Zucchini and other plants are reported growing nicely, despite the 90-degree heat. Park officials said they will let the public know when the veggies are ready to be picked.
