Water main break forces closure of courthouse

The Putnam County Courthouse is closed for the rest of Thursday after the contractor working on U.S. 231 struck a water main in the downtown area.

The City of Greencastle announced mid-morning that water would be shut off in the area.

Officials are not sure how long the repair will take, but crews are on the scene working on the repair.
