Simply Bridget

Two bands with names that otherwise sound like solo acts will grace the Parkfest stage on Tuesday.

Simply Bridget will open the evening at 6:30 p.m., followed by Big Henry in the weekly concert series at the Robe-Ann Park bandshell.

Simply Bridget is a father/daughter duo that passionately plays all styles and genres of music from 2024 bac, to 1952 – music ranging from Taylor Swift to Jelly Roll to Frank Sinatra.

Rebecca Bridget has been playing and writing music since high school, while Dad, Tim Bridget, has 53 years to call upon. Simply Bridget will have you covered whether you want to hear Johnny Cash, Adele, 4 Non Blondes, Train, Plain White T’s, Death Cab for Cutie or Elvis.

Last month, Simply Bridget debuted as singer-songwriters at H.J. Ricks Center for Performing Arts, and has enjoyed a string of engagements at wineries, country clubs and festivals.

Big Henry

For the last seven years Taulbee Jackson and Parker Black have performed covers from their favorite artists, often focusing on one at a time. This year’s Parkfest performance is no exception.

On Tuesday, Big Henry – featuring Ben Hogan (guitar), Jackson (drums), Black (guitar and vocals) and Donovan Asbell (bass) – will cover an hour’s worth of Foo Fighters tunes.

Sound Sponsor for the 2024 season of Parkfest is Prime Real Estate, with Walmart as Platinum Sponsor and Furr Insurance Agency as Gold Sponsor.

Food will be available for purchase from The Whisk, Lost Hollow and Kona Ice.

The Parkfest lineup for the remainder of the season includes:

July 9: Ryan Young, Rocky Branch

July 16: Backroad Revival, Mystery Train Band

July 23: Haley McGinnis, Bobbie Lancaster and Friends

July 30: Chris Wurster, Katz & Jammers
