Outrun the Raindrops

With foreboding skies overhead, Rokicki 5K runners like Drew Brattain (left) and Cameron Humphreys had to outrun the weather as much as one another Thursday morning during Celebrate 4 festivities at Big Walnut Sports Park. Rain began falling before the end of the race, though even walkers avoided the worst of the storm that rolled through later in the morning.

Awaiting the finishers were pancakes prepared by Greencastle Civic League members like Kate Baughman.
