Petting zoo, pony rides set for Second Saturday
Second Saturday returns this Saturday from 6-8 p.m. outside of Scoops on South Indiana Street with a petting zoo and pony rides.
Last year’s petting zoo theme turned out to be a big hit, with families and kids getting an up-close experience with goats, sheep, turtles, rabbits, lizards, ducks and so much more.
Even better, two ponies were on hand last time and will be again, giving kids the chance to take a short ride right in the heart of downtown Greencastle. Families and kids are encouraged to come ready — dressing up with their favorite 4-H-style clothing including boots and cowboy hats.
Second Saturday is made possible by Big Bounce Funhouse Rentals and Greencastle Presbyterian Church. It is entirely free with the bounce house opening at 6 p.m. and the petting zoo starting shortly after.
All are invited to join the fun on South Indiana Street — bring the kids and grandkids, get some ice cream and enjoy a wild evening of fun, laughter and animals.
