Retired Teachers Scholarship

Putnam County Retired Teachers Association members honor one of the two recipients of the 2023-24 Putnam County Retired Teacher Scholarship, Gayle Baugh. The Cloverdale High School alumna will be graduating from Vincennes University with an elementary education and special education degrees in December. While at Vincennes, she was selected to serve two terms on the board of directors. She plans to teach in the area when she graduates in December. She is the daughter of Tara Baugh, a 30-year teacher at Cloverdale, and Jerrod Baugh, Putnam County sheriff. Not present for the photo was the second scholarship recipient, Evelyn Tharp.
