Doris Marie Carrington

Doris Marie Carrington, 92, of Russellville, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Whitlock Place in Crawfordsville.

Doris was born March 19, 1932 in Waveland to the late Charles and Geraldine (Clodfelter) Marsteller. Doris was a 1950 graduate of Russellville High School.

Doris was a lifetime member of the Russellville Community Church in Russellville and was very active in the church’s food pantry. She was also a member of the Ladies Aid and was a den mother. She loved to read. Family meant everything to her.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Deanna Carrington, sister Ruth Ann Fulwider (John), sister-in-law Linda Marsteller, along with nieces and nephews, Curt Krominaker, Scott Marsteller, Mike Marsteller, Jody Cox and Cindy Fulwider, along with several other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Philip, son Kevin Carrington, sister Charlene Krominaker, brother Chuck Marsteller, brother-in-law Chuck Krominaker and a nephew Cary Fulwider.

There will be a graveside service at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 6 at Hebron Cemetery with Pastor Kelly Nichols officiating. Memorials may be made to the Russellville Community Church or the Food Pantry at the church.
