Charles Lee ‘Charlie’ Boller

Charles Lee “Charlie” Boller, 54, of Bainbridge, passed away Monday evening, July 29, 2024 at Hendricks Regional Health Hospital.

Charlie was born March 31, 1970 in Greencastle. He was born to Nina (Gibbs) Boller and adopted by Ray Boller.

On Aug. 11, 2000, Charlie married Bobbi J. Wood. They have shared 23 years of marriage.

Charlie was a 1988 graduate of North Putnam High School. He attended Purdue University. He spent 23 years as a state trooper, with a total of 33 years in law enforcement since high school. He was a volunteer firefighter for Bainbridge for many years. He owned and operated his own mowing company called Boller Lawn Enforcement. He had also served on the North Putnam School Board, was head of security for Hendricks Regional Hospital and was a D.J. for Sound Investment.

Charlie is survived by his wife, Bobbi J. Boller; his daughter, Amber D. Holman-Albright (Jayson); his son, Cameron Boller; his mother Nina A. Boller; two grandchildren, Taelyn and Brantley; siblings Tom Boller (Michelle) and Julie Stevens (Gary); along with several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Boller, brother Mathew Boller and grandparents Maurice and Nancy Gibbs.

There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, Aug. 3 from 1-6 p.m. at the Bainbridge Community Center, 201 N. Grant Ave., Bainbridge.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Putnam County Animal Shelter or the Montgomery County Animal Shelter.
