Arlene Richmond

Arlene Richmond, 80, Fillmore, passed away Monday, July 29, 2024, at Life’s Journey hospice facility in Avon.

Arlene was born Dec. 19, 1943, in Greenfield.

She worked for Indiana Petroleum Council in Indianapolis as office manager and retired after 45 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Ruth Richmond, sisters Mary Ellen and Beverly Richmond and brother Tommy Richmond, all of Greenfield.

She is survived by her brother, Ben Richmond of Deltona, Fla., and family Wilma, Alex, Kyle and Sarah Labra of Indianapolis.

Nieces Carla and Eric Carver, Carri and Frank Mullis, Christine and Randy Jones and nephew Derek Richmond also survive.

Arlene requested no funeral services.

The burial will be at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.

Memorial contributions can be made to any of Arlene’s favorite charities: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Association.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Conkle Funeral Home, Avon Chapel.
