Stilesville man killed in motorcycle crash with deer

COATESVILLE -- A 41-year-old Hendricks County man was fatally injured early Saturday when his motorcycle collided with a deer along a county road, east of State Road 75.

Charles Stone of Stilesville was reported dead at the scene part way between Coatesville and Stilesville when a Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office deputy discovered the accident while en route to another call about 2:45 a.m.

Authorities said Stone, who was wearing a helmet, struck the deer and subsequently died from injuries sustained in the crash located at 6000 W. County Road 600 South in western Hendricks County.
