Judith Arlene Neel

Judith A. Neel, 82, of Greencastle, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2024 surrounded by her family.

Born Nov. 5, 1941 in Beech Grove, she was the daughter of Walter and Mary (Lobb) Timberman.

Judith had been a school bus driver for 40 years, having driven for the Franklin Township, Greencastle and North Putnam schools. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Greencastle.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, John B. Neel, and sister Joyce Ann Radford.

Judith is survived by her husband of 65 years, Bud Neel; daughters Pamela (James) Weber and Lesa Hartman; sister Linda L. Rabourn; grandchildren Brittney (Andrew) Cooper, Amanda (Alex) Wagner and Jamie (Bruce) Weber; and great-grandchildren Adaline, Gracelyn, Jade, Callie, Jimmy and Madelyn.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9 am.m. until time of service on Saturday.

Burial will follow at the Acton Cemetery in Indianapolis on Saturday at noon.
