Hattie Lee Folck

Hattie Lee Folck, 99, of Greencastle, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 15, 2024.

She was born March 21, 1925 in Stuart, Va., the daughter of Penn Bower and Fanny Alpha (Hart) Scott.

Hattie was a homemaker and had been a cook at Bainbridge Elementary School for 23 years. She was a member of Greencastle Seventh-day Adventist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Keith Folck; daughter Carolyn Girton; sons Larry, Donald, Dale and Joseph Folck; five sisters; and two brothers.

Hattie is survived by her children, Dennis (Starlet) Folck, Ronnie Folck, James Folck and Linda (Terry) Cox; sister Jerline Aylsworth; 17 grandchildren; 35 great-grand-children and 14 great-great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 20 at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Fillmore Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday.
