Lillian E. Presslor

Lillian E. Presslor, 107, Waveland, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2024 at her home. Lillian was born Aug. 2, 1917 in Milligan to the late Raymond and Ava (Pile) Moore.

Lillian was a 1934 graduate of Waveland High School. On April 4, 1939 in Rockville, Lillian and Edwin C. Presslor were married. They had shared 45 years of marriage together before his passing in July 15, 1984.

Lillian was a member of the Waveland Christian Church, the Waveland American Legion Auxiliary, the Waveland Women’s Club. She worked at the Montgomery County Recorder’s Office, Servies & Morgan Hardware Store and retired from the Department of Agriculture in Crawfordsville in 1982.

Survivors include son John Presslor (Lana); daughter Carol Coffman (Rodney); grandchildren Denise (Rich) Lawson, Malcom (Donna) Reed, Kevin (Emily) Reed, Rob (Staci) Smith, Yvonne (Brad) Jones, Micheal Coffman, Joe Presslor, Brandon (Andrea) Presslor and Darrin (Sarah) Presslor; along with many great-grandchildren; two stepgranddaughters, Melissa (Dean) Gerber and Lynette (Caleb) Martin; several step-great-grandchildren; a nephew; and five nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Edwin, daughter Linda Reed, granddaughter Kimberly Smith, grandson Quentin Smith and great-grandson Cody Smith.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12 at Machledt & Servies Funeral Home, 301 E. Green St., Waveland. Pastor Rodney Coffman will be officiating. Burial will follow in Old Union Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Memorial Contributions in Lillian’s memory may be made to the Waveland Volunteer Fire Departemnt envelopes will be provided.
