Jesus in the Park event Sunday at Robe-Ann

Greencastle Legacy Rider Chapter of Christian Motorcyclist Association (CMA) will present an outdoor movie of the historical story of Jesus Christ on Sunday, Sept. 15 at the bandshell in Greencastle’s Robe-Ann Park.

The festivities will start at 5 p.m. with praise band Upward Journey followed by New Life Baptist praise band and then by the CMA state praise band Mercy Triumph.

Between 8 and 8:15 p.m. the movie will start depending on darkness. Food will be provided by Trail Life.

“The Story of Jesus Christ” has been shown in 124 countries by a missionary group called the Jesus Film Project.

CMA is a major contributor to this mission, contributing more than $25 million in the last 26 years. Some 190 million people have viewed this film, resulting in 19 million salvations. Also, the film has been interpreted in 2,078 languages and is currently being translated into sign language.

The evening is open to all, free of charge.

In the event of inclement weather, the event will take place on Saturday, Sept. 21 at the same location and time.
